Whistleblowing
Creating a safe space for employees
CiC Wellbeing's confidential Whistleblowing service gives employees a safe and secure way to speak up about concerns, wrongdoing, or suspicious activity.
What is whistleblowing?
Whistleblowing is when someone speaks up about concerns in their workplace - especially if it could harm people, the organisation, or the public.
Here’s an easy way to think about it:
Whistleblowing is simply raising a concern about serious wrongdoing so it can be put right.
This might include things like fraud, safety issues, unethical behaviour, or anything that feels dishonest or dangerous. The person speaking up does it because they want to protect others and help keep the organisation safe and accountable.
A good whistleblowing process makes it easy for employees to share concerns confidentially, without fear and with the reassurance that their information will be handled properly.
Spotting issues before they become costly problems
Our trained counsellors listen, support and pass on information appropriately helping protect both employees and the organisation. Most people in your organisation do the right thing. However, fraud and misconduct can still occur and it is estimated that organisations lose between 2% and 5% of their turnover to fraud alone - on top of the costs linked to unethical behaviour, falsified records, harassment, or substance misuse.
What we bring
What we offer
Our whistleblowing service works alongside your existing whistleblowing policy to receive, assess and manage sensitive information on your behalf. It helps your organisation stay compliant with legislation such as the Public Interest Disclosure Act and promotes a culture of openness and integrity.
Our wider range of support solutions
Our approach combines immediate emotional support, structured counselling, practical advice and a powerful digital wellbeing platform - ensuring that your workforce receives the right help at the right time.
We help organisations build confident, compassionate peer networks that give employees someone they can genuinely talk to. Our clinically led, trauma-informed peer support programme trains selected staff to become trusted listeners who provide early, empathetic support and guide colleagues to the right resources when they need them. It is a practical, human way to strengthen wellbeing across teams while complementing your existing services.
At CiC Wellbeing, we understand that the pressures of modern work can take a toll - sometimes quietly and gradually. Our Mental Health Employee Check-Ins offer a proactive way for organisations to support staff wellbeing before challenges turn into bigger issues. These check-ins are simple, structured conversations with a dedicated counsellor, designed to help people pause, reflect, and look after their mental wellbeing.
