Oxfam has launched its first ever employee assistance programme in partnership with CiC, offering round-the-clock telephone assistance and face-to-face counselling to the organisation’ s 1,300 UK-based employees.
“Our employees have benefitted from in-house occupational counselling for nearly thirty years. But with the retirement of a key member of staff we recognise the opportunity to introduce an employee assistance programme and collaborate with CiC, who will support our UK based team, including staff at all of our UK offices, warehouses and our Humanitarian Support Personnel,” says Jane Avis, Senior Staff Health Adviser at Oxfam.
